Who we are
This project is a partnership project between, the Woodburn Community, the After School Club, and participating schools in Woodburn.
1) Provide students with the opportunity and inspiration to showcase their learning in STEM.
2) Provide students and the community with opportunities to learn about and be inspired by STEM activities and careers through hands on demonstrations and interactive presentations.
The STEM Festival seeks to create and provide an authentic context for students to share their learning and curiosity in STEM and to involve community members in other ways that are connected to and promote STEM, College, Careers and Citizenship. If you are interested in being involved or sharing ideas about this concept as it unfolds please join us to brainstorm and plan! We welcome students at all levels, and we hope for a strong presence of Elementary students in the festival.
